200 here I come!
I have been working my tail off this week!! I missed working out Monday (travel day) and so I thought I’d better make up for it Tuesday. So, I did 8 miles on my Gazelle Tuesday. Well, then I got to thinking, if I can do 8 miles one day, why not do it again? So, I did on Wednesday. Then, today, I realized that I’m not going to get to work out on Saturday (another travel day) so I did another 8 miles today. It nearly killed me today though and I did rest a bit after 4 miles but I got it done. Oh, I also did my strength training yesterday and will do it again tomorrow. I am determined to get under 200 lbs before my trip June 1st. I think I’m on my way! I have been weighing on my Mom’s scale while visiting with her. Provided it doesn’t lie, I think I’ve lost another 3 lbs. I’ll wait till I get home and weigh on my scale before I change my tracker but if it’s right….only 6 lbs to go to reach my mini goal! Yeehaw!! I hope all my buddies are doing well and I look forward to getting caught up with you all. I’ve missed you guys!! I’ll be gone again next week then home for a whole week!! Wow, it’s been so long that I’ve almost forgotten what being home feels like. Well, gotta go and take the kids back to Mom’s for dinner. Have a great week everybody!!
